Default Q: 2000 Saleen centercap size?

I just bought a set of centercaps off the forum for my 2000 and they are too small. Is there different sizes and why would that be?

Yes there are 2 different sizes. Can't tell you why that would be though. Use the search and it should come up with the different sizes.

As stated above. Yes, there were two cap designs for the New Edge era.

Looking in your photo album, your car images appear to show replica Saleen wheels. If you are still running these wheels this can pose an additional size issue. "Some" of the replica Saleen wheels run a unique center cap size.

The wheels I have are real saleen wheels but for some reason they have aftermarket centercaps. All four wheels have the saleen molded on them.

Mine are 2 5/8ths. I ordered some generic blank caps form ebay and used the decals from TFB Designs to make my own.

I filled the blank to the rim with a type of automotive cement then attached the decals. I then spray a clearcoat to ensure they stay in place. You may be aboe to find blanks that you don't have to level out the center to make it work. I bought them not thinking about having to level them out.
