Few questions re: 1988 saleen convertible
Looking at picking up a 88 white convertible. I have a 90, but I know there are differences.
First of all is the body kit glued on or screwed on? my 90's body kit is screwed on Also did the 88 come with sub frames? :D |

I think that all the body kits on the Foxes were screwed on they are on my 89.
And unless someone has put subframe connectors on it they didn't come with them. I put Kenny Brown full length subframes on mine!! See Ya Bill |

88 Fascias
88 Saleens didn't have screws in them.Sometime in late 1988 Saleen relized that the tow sided tape wasn't holding and they started using screws. If a custumer had problems with their cars fascias under warranty, they would have had screws put in.I think it was like a Saleen Service bulletin.92 wasd first year for subframe connectors.

My '88 still has the two sided tape holding up very well. I have just been real careful with it. But of course the car only has 48,000 miles on it now.
