Default Any Coupes Out There?

Hey guys, been lurking here for a while and finally decided to post. I just sold my 87-161. Curious if there are any Saleen coupes out there for sale. I know Mark has a few listed on his site. There were 2 Oregon coupes on e-bay a while back also. Curious also if the original owner of the blue 91 coupe found his Saleen. He posted on here a while back. Fox body Saleens are beautiful cars. Would like to see some coupe pics if anybody has any to post. Thanks guys for any info.

Jim D. found a Damerow Coupe a few weeks ago. Greg (saleenlocator) has/had an cabernet red '89 coupe for sale at one time. There's a black '91 coupe in the NY area for sale and a medium blue '89 out in AZ.

There was a white non-Damerow '88 on EBay a few months back. Located in PA I think.

Welcome to the forums!

Thanks for the reply. I know the N.Y. car, should have bought it years ago when Mark had it. A guy about 2hrs from me has a black 90 model coupe but wont sell, its a project car.

Project cars can be fun, as long as it doesn't empty the pockets.

88-400 needs a good home. Seems to bounce around. It's built to be an open track car. Pictured in the Pati Redeker Saleen History Book in street form.

Yes. Greg has it listed on his website: http://www.saleenls.com/

It would be a neat car as it stands, but would probably be better if it was returned to stock or stock appearing. Might be able to get a $1,000 for the polished intake. Not sure about the wheels. Maybe a $1,000+ for the SC. I can't recall what unit it's running.

Does anyone have any information on this car? I was looking at it but I'm curious as to why you say it has bounced around. What would you say a good price range is for it? http://performanceautosport.com/detail.asp?car=6100

Default 88-400

The drivetrain in this car is not original and the car as you can see has been modified.I am not saying this is a bad thing but that scares alot of people away from the car.1st owner had the car for about a year on the east coast. The second owner had the car a few years and the car was in excelent condition.Someone on the west coast bought the car and swapped out the engine and trans and modified it.The car came back east and traded hands a few more times between collectors and then Perfomance Autosport got it and sold it to the person who has it now.Its a bargain at the $17500 if you are not worried about it being not original.

Contact Mark at mark@performanceautosport.com or 804-784-8851. He can tell you what has been done and if you did want to bring it back to orig if it is even possible.

Default 89-02 Blue Aod Coup

Does anyone know if the Blue AOD 89-02 ever sold or is still available ?

I remember bidding on it when it first hit ebay before those recent mods..

Hera are few pics of 90-235( just unloaded from a long and snowy trip home from texas) along with pics of 88-224 before and during resto. I have only driven 90-235 once, but it is an awesome car. It was ordered from Saleen with a wing and stripe delete (wing added by previous owner) full roll cage, oil cooler, sc headers, koni shocks etc.T he first owner was Jan Morgan who raced it extensively on the west coast. (Just spoke with Mr. Morgan, what a great guy thanks). The second owner was from Amarillo, TX and a super guy as well.I am the proud third owner.

I have now completed my Fox Saleen tri-fecta (vert, hatch, coupe).I love these darn cars.

Great looking car coupey, I hope everyone has a great holidays.

I hope the previous link works if not try this: http://s642.photobucket.com/albums/uu142/owenoutdoor/

I think I saw the ad for that 90. That is an awesome car, especially with all those add ons. What wheels are those on the car?

Thanks I really like the car.
The wheels on the car are Simmons three piece. They are the first set(and maybe only set?) that Simmons made for a fox Saleen.I am unsure if I want to use them or put on a set of white speedlines I have?

Here are a few pics from my Blackberry. I added stripes and speedlines to the coupe.

http://s642.photobucket.com/albums/uu142/owenoutdoor/

I know the car is a wing and stripe delete, but previous owner added a wing, so I figured might as well go for it. I can change back later. Let me know what you think?
