I thought the extremes already had the upgraded twin fuel pump. With a good tune you should be in the low to mid 500s.

seelye,

2007 and up i think have beat fuel pump system but 05-06 didn't really have it i think it can handle up to 460-480rwh... If I'm able to achieve 530-550 with those combos, ill be pretty happy.

Not true. All extremes (05-09) came with Shelby gt500 twin pumps.
I went up to 640RWHP with that setup.

They weren't gt500 pumps yet. They were GT supercar pumps.

That's correct, but same capacity as Shelbys and same FPDMs as Shelbys as well.

Hmmmmm. Can anyone else confirm this twin pump on 2005-2006 extremes. If I don't need to get gt500 pumps and only need 60 injectors then that will save me $800 bucks

Check your trunk. If there are two FPDMs you have twin pumps.

The S197 Extreme has twin pumps. Saleen sold a twin pump kit over-the-counter through Speedlab as well.

No problem. Fuel pump driver module. They are behind the trim panel at the rear of the car in the trunk.

Ok. To confirm everything there is 2 sfpdm modules next to the spare tire. Is 06saleenE correct? I'm only shooting for 550-575rwh. If I can do without gt500 and use that money toward cams then that would be an awesome route

What do you mean if I'm correct? You think I'm joking?

If you go with 60lb and those GT500 pumps on pump gas 93 you can get close into the high 600's so as far as what you're trying to do you're covered with fuel. As long as you have a real extreme system, which seems that you do.

I've got to chime in. 06 SaleenE please tell us your setup. I've just recently purchased my 06 and want more safe power. I've been told that with my tune, 60lb injectors, idler system, CAI and overdrive crank pulley that I'm at around 530rwhp. Supposedly JDM did the tune and most likely installed parts.

Good looking car and twin brother of mine! Congrats wth the new acquisition.
Well I have a 302 stroker kit, 2 stage cams, but you can't feel the shake of them (listen to the video below) also has others things incl. a lot of love, hard work and many hours of R&D and implementation put into it. All the work done by me (no shop ever touches my car unless I direct the work that needs to be done). This is not your typical bolts on shop work done on it, but a lot of time and effort that to go ahead and all of the sudden spread the beans on the table just like that it's just not going to happen. With a very safe tune with E85 @ 85% humidity and AIT of 101 degrees in Miami did 707WHP and 640WHP with 93 with a bit fat AFR of 11.3:1. This is not like some dudes in jersey or up north at 40F putting their cars on a dyno to do 600+ WHP. It's humid Miami weather. Car tuned by one of the best in the country Kevin McDonald (full time tuner of JPC Racing and one of the guys responsible for the development of Diablo sport). MHO is that If you really want to get good performance out of your car use Brenspeed (more than JDM) since JDM has lost interest for these cars and doesn't put the same level of love like they used to, however they really know these cars.

See video below.

Enjoy your new machine is a beautiful one.

Great numbers! I was wondering if someone else with a Saleen had made the jump to E85. I just made the switch over myself and love it. Wish I would have done it earlier. I had my car on a mustang dyno last week and made similar numbers to yours. Gotta love that torque!

That's very impressive especially since you've taken the time and passionately messaged that beast to perfection it sounds like. I wish I had the time, knowledge and experience to dive into tweaking it. I also wish you were closer because I'd love to see it and hear it roar. Well if you're ever up near St. Petersburg with it give me a shout. And thanks a ton for the info and insight.
