Stroker, stage 3 heads with O/S valves, comp stage 2 blower grind cams, ported saleen supercharger lid, twin 62mm throttle body, kooks headers, 2.87 pulley. Car sounds pretty good. Need to get the tune a bit closer before I drive it to get dyno tuned.

Do you mean Livernois heads and is your throttle body Ford Racing? I remember seeing in someone's sig line that they thought the upgraded TB didn't do much?. What did you decide on for the new fuel system?

SHM everything. I don't care what anybody thinks. These heads flow over 300cfm on the intake. Ford Racing throttle body. I liked the polished look. Fore fuel system. Bought a used Saleen supercharger head unit from JDM because mine inhaled some metal. That thing is way too loud. Doesn't sound good at all. I might have to have it rebuilt. I'm going to call JDM and see what they say. Supposedly it had less than 10,000 miles on it so I can't see why it's so loud. My 18k mile one made less noise.

He should definitely see a gain with the FRPP Dual 62mm TB w/ the blower porting if it matches. If not, then it's just a cosmetic upgrade.

Have fun w/ the new motor...looks like it's gonna be a beast!! ;)

Which crank pulley are you going to run w/ the 2.87?

While on the subject i am running the IW 10% OD pulley with the 2.87 S/C pulley on my extreme and i noticed a jump in the IAT's... Sound normal to anyone? I think i need to go with the ported S/C inlet and the twin 62mm TB..

The larger the crank pulley, the more the boost, the more the boost, the more you compress the air, the more you compress the air the hotter the air gets.

I'm running the stock lower pulley. Just a 2.87 upper. Supposedly will give me about 15 lb of boost. We'll see. Maybe the future will include a Kenne Bell mammoth kit! That would be a monster.

Heading to performance dyno this weekend for dyno. Should have numbers by sunday. You can probably check out the dyno cam on Saturday at about 10 am.

Well, got back last night. The car was pullied supposedly for 15 pounds with a 2.87 upper but I guess my heads are flowing good because the car only made 10 pounds. But at 10 pounds with 18 degrees timing, the car put down 531 RWHP! I think those are some pretty good numbers for 10 pounds. I'm going to get an overdrive lower and try to bring it up to 15 lb and I'm guessing that should put me pretty close to 600 RWHP.

Good Job man.

Would be interesting to see how it goes from 10lb to 15lb with the lower pulley.

Well, the dyno shop owner has an 08 GT with pretty much the same mods. He has a 12% lower and had a 2.87 for upper. He used to make 15. He installed a 3.2 or 3.4 upper and it went down to 10. So, I'm guessing to go 12% lower and I should be about there.

****. What setup are you running? What engine mods/compression? My 302 stroker, at 10 psi made 462/467. Its at 8.7:1 compression though with stock heads/cams/etc. Your numbers impress and intrigue me good sir!

SHM 302 stroker, 9.1 compression, Stage 3 ported heads with Comp Cams VSR stage 2 blower cams with limiters for safety, Saleen ported lid with Ford Racing Twin 62 MM throttle body, Kooks headers with catted H-pipe. The car made these numbers through catalytics, magnaflow resonators and stock mufflers! I'm very happy. Can't wait to turn up the boost to 15 psi to see what she puts down!

Trying to figure out what overdrive crank pulley I will need. Called Brenspeed and they mentioned an IW 18% overdrive. I thought I'd only need a 12%. I will probably get the 18% one and then if I need to pulley down, I'll do a bigger upper.

Just a note on the 18% overdrive, I was talking to Chandler and hes not for sure if you can run the Truck V-10 water pump pulley with it????

If you are even running it know or not just a heads up.

I've got the stock pulleys. Only thing is a UPR tensioner (very good) and a 2.87 upper.
