Default 2002 S281 S/C with custom Blower Cams

Heres a video a shot recently with my CMS stage 3 blower cams installed. I picked up 40 rwhp with these blower cams and the tuner said there is more out of them if I could rev higher, now the car puts down 412rwhp

Cams were from Cushman Motorsports, actually got the whole valvetrain through them.

Driveability is fine, gas mileage really sucks through city though but highway I still got about 300 miles to the tank.

I'm getting ready to do so cams, and was looking at cms's stage 2.5. I have a some questions for you. Did you have anyone check the piston to valve clearence? And is the motor stock internals? That saleen sounds so awesome, makes me want to go with the stage 3's just dont wanna have any motor issues. Thanks in advance for the answers.

They weren't as easy as "drop in" as they seem. After dealing with it myself for awhile and going away training so much I finally just sent it to a local mustang shop and they did the work. They clearanced each piston individually and I never had any issues. Yes the motor was stock internals.

I picked up 40rwhp with these cams.

Thanks alot for the info, yea, I'm having a performance shop do mine, I also have to upgrade the fuel system plus retune, so I'm having them do everything, unless a trade is made first. Thanks again for the info!!!

When you say they clearanced each piston individually, do you mean they checked the clearance on all the cylinders?
