002PJSC Information
Greetings everyone
I will be selling the 2007 PJ Saleen 002 on bringatrailer.com very soon. I have a letter stating that there is or was video of Parnelli Jones and Steve Saleen signing 001 and 002 in front of Saleens Newport Beach retail facility on the day of Parnelli Jones personal delivery of 001, it is also reported that on the video Parnelli Jones test drove 002 due to the unique package in 002. Does anyone know where I can find these videos. I have done some google searches with no luck, I have also just sent Saleen.com a message about this as well. Thank you for any help you can provide. Welcome to the forums!
The SuperShaker concept was not really a thing when the S302 PJs were developed nor when PJ production began. The SuperShaker was gaining steam as an engineering idea / prototype near the end of the PJ production run. May / June 2007. The SuperShaker consumer kit did not debut until summer of 2008. One year after PJ production had ended. One story was, Steve Saleen had the #02 PJ and sold it to Wayne Grafton. Or someone like Wayne. Then the car was supercharged. Steve had left Saleen Inc before the SuperShaker was a thing.

Thank you. We know the supercharger was installed by Saleen in 2008. Current owner has had it since 2009. I also ordered a letter of authenticity from Saleen, Should have it in my hands this next week. I will post to here when the auction goes live.

We found the original title for the car, it shows Saleen, Inc. as being the original owner of the car.
Following the CarFax report. it looks like Villa Ford sold the car to Saleen on 5/16/2008 Found out that Saleen used it as a PROMO car and drove it from 7 miles on the odometer to 20606 miles on the odometer. Saleen, Inc. sold it at auction on 4/27/2009 to Lewis Ford in Arkansas. Then sold it to Bigler Motors, who then sold it to the current owner So Saleen owned the car from 5/16/2008 to 4/27/2009 1st owner - Saleen 2nd (& current)
