88-110
Hello all, new here. I bought what I hope is 88-110. Its rough, but I think it can be saved. Last 4 digs of VIN are 6828. Its black with grey int. Has a "Saleen" tag under the hood on driver's side fender well, and a tag on the shifter plate. Looks like it still has everything it came with new but the wheels. I want restore it as I get the time and money too. Does anyone know this car?

Thanks for the reply! Looks like it just has the options listed in the sale brochure else where on this site. Still has the Flowfit seats, Momo wheel, Hurst shifter, short tube headers, 5 lug and SVO brakes.

Post up some pics! Mine isn't pretty to look at but it's still a great canvas to start! There weren't a lot of Fox Saleen's built so it's awesome to hear of another being saved!

I tried to get it over the weekend, but for some reason my fuel pump isnt working. I hear the relay clicking when I turn the key, but no fuel presure. I've had it in storage in my barn covered up with blankets, so it's dirty and dusty on top of the grey primer front clip. I would like to get it out and at least wash it bf I post some pics bc it is "that bad". I bought a GT40P out of an Explorer that I was thinking that I want to put a small cam in. Like maybe an "E" or "B" cam, so I hate to buy a stock pump if an upgrade would work better with that combo. What do you all think?

Upgrade the pump. Even if you run it with the stock motor it will be fine. It will be there ready in the wait for your future motor combo.

Thats kind of what I was thinking, but with mild mods I have in mind which would you go with? I guess if I go to big the FPR will just send the exsess back to the tank. I was thinking of the 110 or the next one up from that.
