Q: Wrecked or Salvaged PJ Parts?
With about seventy-five cars permanently out of circulation, they must be somewhere. Do specialty yards keep these cars for insurance companies or are some just hording parts. Does anyone know of wrecked PJ's that are being parted out. I need a rear wheel in near new condition. One was destroyed during routine wheel balancing believe it or not. -- I will say, it's very nice to have a forum dedicated to PJ's. Just another good reason to own one. Should I post my email and/or phone number? I'm new at this.

I believe every damaged PJ Edition I've been aware of has / had been repaired. Some are missing a Saleen/PJ specific part or assembly, but the vehicles were repaired.
The worst we saw, was a car out in the Northwest that had been barrel rolled. More than likely, this car was repaired through a rebodied with a fresh shell, but it was repaired. |

Saleen Parnelli Jones - Salvage Cars
I had no idea. The Heritage Series cars must hold a special place in their owner's hearts. I have seen other Saleen's being parted. I was informed that apx. 75 PJ's have been crashed. I'm looking at one now. So, make sure the frame is not bent!! - Thank you, G.
