Default New 2001 S281 #153 owner within last 8 months

Hi everyone, just wanted to say hello and say that 2001 S281 #153 has been rescued from its original owner. This Saleen only has 60k on the odometer and only one owner. The original owner bought this car when he landed his first well paying job and went straight to the Ford dealership in Ca to place his order for his dream car. Needless to say ut was his baby but the exterior has seen better days. The interior is in great condition as is the engine. The S281 still had the original Racecraft suspension which has been updated as well as the front brakes. The car only requires some tlc in the paint department and a little body work to take out some dings here and there from his kids when they were younger. Does anyone know the type of silver this S281 has? Well the car is in the process of being brought back to its former glory and hope to get it painted sometime next year. I’ve always loved the body styling of the S281 newedge, guess it was time to pick one up snd hope to find a new edge convertible s281 SC in the near future. So far as mentioned before the suspension has been updated, front brakes replaced to Brembo and the Saleen windshield banner has been replaced as the original owner never did after replacing his cracked windshield.

Congratulations on your purchase!

Your S281 is painted Ford factory code "YN" Silver.

Since this is a 2001 model year Mustang, it should have the head light assemblies with the black trim.

Enjoy your new car!
