Default Q: Lug nut size & wrench?

When I purchased my 420S, the lug nut wrench to fit the Saleen wheels was missing . does anyone know where to purchase or what size the socket is?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/gor-1721/overview/ This is the same type of wrench. It should be a 13/16 thin wall socket.

I picked up the one from summit racing (#1721), and not one of the sockets fit. It came with two sockets and 4 different sizes. The only thing I have come close with was a 12 point 7/8, but it was just a little to big. HELP?????

"gor-1721" is a wrench kit, but it does not appear to have the socket you need. Feel free to return it.

Saleen reused the original Ford lug nuts on the S197 cars. The traditional Saleen wheels needed a thin, deep wall socket to reach the nuts. This is why a socket and wrench were supplied.

You want a half inch drive, deep, thin wall, 13/16 inch socket. Look for one locally at your convenient hardware store. It does not have to be "Gorilla" brand unless you want originality.

"1334" looks to be the kit you want (if you want a Gorilla kit).

Ok, I received the 1334 kit and neither socket will fit. The 13/16 is close, but wont work. I am at a total loss. Any Race Craft owners tell me whats in there trunk or what they have?

ASC/Saleen built these vehicles with the original Ford Motor Company lug nuts.
