Thanks for your time Please help me to know how to identify a true 1989 Saleen from a fake. Dah plaques, colors, specs, instruments, suspension, etc, everithing to know if a Mustang is a true or is a fake. By the way, is true that in 1989 some Saleens were equipped with the 5.8? Thanks a lot!!! Fer

There are no 5.8 factory made Saleens in 1989.
Look for the follwing: momo steering wheel flofit seats, matching rear sear 5 lug 16 inch wheels rear disc brakes number on the driver's side bumper id plauqe on the firewall interior id plauqe right in front of the shifter **get the vin and call saleen directly and ask for Liz, she can varifiy if it is real or not!

before you purchase any SALEEN contact Saleen at 949-597-4900 and verify with Team SAleen that it is real. They will need the last three digits of the VIN number. The Saleen book also has this information in it. You can purchase it at www.thesaleenbook.com or www.performanceautosport.com
