Q: Stillen brakes on 2000 S281 SC?

My 2000 S281SC (#462) has Stillen brakes. I can't find anywhere where this was even an option. Were Saleens available with Stillen Brakes that year? Or did someone add these themselves?

The AP Racing calipers were briefly used between the Alcons and Brembos. Post a photo of your caliper.

Those look like OE PBR calipers.

excuse my ignorance, but when you say OE are you saying they came like that from Saleen as an option? Upgraded 13" brakes? Is pbr a brand of Stillen? Thanks

Sorry. What I am saying is, your braking set-up does not look much different than a stock 1999-04 Ford Mustang GT.

No Saleen upgrade.

What size are your rotors? The Stillen kit may be a 1994-1998 SVT Cobra-style upgrade.

I've seen these. Saw a previous owner put them on. Same calipers used on cobra, mach1 and Bullitt mustangs. As well baer used these calipers.
