Default Shifter Handle Spins

Does anyone know how to tighten a shifter handle on a 2008 Heritage? Mine just spins and I would like to tighten it.

Appears to be a problem with this model
I have tried several things including screwing a grub screw up the center to put pressure on spinning part to no avail

You might need to sleeve the shifter shaft if the set screw has dug a hole.

Default Problem solved

Ok
The problem is solved
The hardest part is to remove shifter knob from lever, heat will be needed as it is loctited on
Once the knob is removed you have access to the underside of the knob there you will find a 3/32" allen headed screw that tightens the bottom halve to the top plate.
The knob is actually 3 pieces top, centre and bottom as per photos
Trust this helps, worked for me
Tony
