Default Stock axles 28 or 31 spline?

I have heard that the 2005+ Gts came with 31 spline axles? Does anyone know for sure if the S281sc also got them? Thanks....

From 2005+ All Mustang V8's have 31 spline axles. The previous 28 spline had a recongnizable failure rate. If you need something stronger, we offer a Chrome moly 31 spline axle kit, I dare you to think about breaking those! LOL.

Good deal, one less part to buy. What about TA covers, what do you recommend especially if you plan on an aftermarket panhard bar down the road?

Thats a great setup! I prefer the Eaton tru trac though. If your are going to do much actual racing, a T/A cover would be better in a sense of being able to put pre-load on the main caps for additional strenght. The boss/gt500 one you are using is great for heat disapation! We even stock those because they sell quite often.
