Q: Need advice on Saleen purchase?
Been a Saleen guy all my life, and I've owned 10 of them since 1996 up to 2008 and walked away to cobra terminator and gt350 due to the company's lack of customer service and quality control. Since it got bough out she everyone got booted, and operations moved to Detroit. I wanted to get ado into Saleen but I Don't know if it's worth the hassle, especially on an extreme which doesn't have any warranty and parts available anymore, I assume. I'm debating on the Saleen extreme, which is hard to find in yellow 2006. Or new c6 zo6 and or zr1. I like the gatherings and shows that the chevy guy doesn't have, but it don want to get Saleen, and he is stuck with issues and no support from anyone. What are your thoughts, guys? It's been a while. Or a gt350r which is overpriced

Exterior and interior parts are out-of-stock, for the most part, with any 2005-09 era Saleen Mustang. Also, most 2005-09 era parts are obsolete from Ford Motor Company.
If you get into an accident with any pre-2015 Saleen Mustang, there will be a hassle. If you get into an accident with any 2015-21 Saleen Mustang, you may still have a hassle... with the Saleen spec equipment. Anyone looking to drive a Saleen vehicle daily or often need to be of one of these mindsets. 1: Be oblivious to the lack of replacement parts. 2: Doesn't care if vehicle to totaled out and sent to Copart. |
