Snails
I’m almost afraid to post this, but it’s just to weird not to! I pulled my supercharger off so I can send it to Jason for service. This is what I found. Any thoughts?

That’s Weird!
I believe mice like snails. Maybe that’s the dining room Last edited by tbar; 01-18-2021 at 09:32 PM. |

Like tbar said, it appears to be a rodent issue. A quick internet search for "snails in engine bay" brought up similar experiences with rodents being the main cause.

Where did the previous owner park this vehicle?

The rodent theory makes sense. I don’t see any chewed wires, or have any electrical problems. I don’t know much about the car’s history. Apparently it sat outside at one time or another!

We see this quite often along with rats nest, bird nest, and even a cat once. Clean thoroughly, but try not to "hose down" and let the water go in that hole in the back of the block. It can splash on the flywheel and clutch and cause damage. Use some old towels with simple green or parts wash and clean. I believe vinegar wards away mice, I could be wrong.
