Default SN95 Heritage Colors?

Currently Saleen offers a few heritage color options for the S550's such as red w/gold stripes/wheels, white with blue stripes and white wheels and so I got curious.

Did Saleen make any SN95s with these color options? I'm specifically curious about red w/gold stripes/wheels.

Hi. Yes, these were standard color schemes during the SN95 era. Meaning they were not an extra cost option.

Though, production for the red/gold and white/blue is lower than a similar red/silver and white/black. People (or dealers) opting for the flashier stripe colors decreased during the 1990s.

Saleen offered the colors, and made some, just not as many as before.

sbprost,

The gold stripe option on the SN cars was the "Y" code if I recall correctly. Really looks good on the red and black cars.

Supposedly this is 94-001:

This is from 5.0 Mustang and Super Ford:

Thanks for the heads up! I'll just need to keep my eyes open for one.

Also...Daniel, when you say "supposedly" that is how 94-001 looked, does that mean that nobody has seen the car in that long?

sbprost,

I attempt to verify Saleen VIN when I locate cars online, I stated "supposedly" due to none of the photos having the bumper number visible. It was only mentioned in the FB post that "this is 94-001". The poster was the son of a Ford dealership owner that was tied into Saleen back in the early 90's that posted it looking to sell. I ended up purchasing a few posters off the guy.

I saw 95-46 at Pigeon Forge this year- it’s black with gold accents and wheels. Really a stunning combination in person.
