Default Seeking info: 07-0049 PJ

I'm in the process of working out a deal on a 2007 Saleen/Jones Mustang. I'm purchasing the car from an individual in Burbank/LA, California. Reportedly about 55k miles, has had some upgrades like a 6-speed Tremec Trans. Background check looks good on vehicle. Present owner is the the 4th owner of vehicle. Vehicle is priced below market value. Just wondering if there is any red flags on this car I've overlooked! Thanks for your help. The car ad can be seen in the LA Craigslist listing. Car is #49 of 500.

PJ #49 may of had paint work.

Car was auctioned twice with aftermarket exterior roundels. The first time the roundels were replicas of the Saleen transfers. The current roundels are a different font.

Pull a CarFax or an AutoCheck report.

Non thing came up on any accidents etc., on background VIN check! I didn't know the car had been auctioned off twice, knew someone attempted to sell it at Mecum but didn't sell last year! Planning on flying down and inspecting the car. A little unusual to be replacing the trans at a cost of $7,000.00, a nice upgrade to a Tremec 6 speed! Reportedly the 5th gear went out, although it sounds like Ford has said they had a weak transmission! Don't know why the different roundels font, obviously they were changed for some reason! If the car had been in an accident, someone paid for the repairs out of there pocket avoiding any traceable reports of any repairs which isn't uncommon! Going to require some more digging! Innocent till proven guilty! Smile..thanks again for your help! Still on the surface the car looks good but what lurks below the surface? From the surface the car looks more orange that the other ones I've seen in pics which look like a brighter yellow/orange! Thanks again for your help!
