Default Seeking info: 07-0231 PJ

Looking to buy this one, looks like it was a California car most of its life, 2 previous owner, 28K. Good deal or not? Anyone know of this car and its history?

Miles, photos, original sales paperwork, original manuals?

Price is not outrageous.

The bumper serialization numbers look to be too far to the left.

Ask if the PJ logo floor mats are still with the vehicle. Same goes for the owner manuals.

The yellow wheel center caps are a common problems with age and sunlight. Same goes for the cracking shaker hood trim. Common. The rear louver nuts are fading to white. Common problem with sunlight.

The Ford plastic seat trim has wear / scuff marks.

Window MSRP sticker pictured is a modern replacement. Has the "older" S-logo.

Vehicle has replacement tires of Michelin brand.

First off, thank you so much for taking it a look and pointing these out. Are any of them deal breakers for the price? Would the bumper number mean its probably been replaced and not put back on correctly?

The numbers may have been replaced do to age or there may have been repainting on the front cover.

I would call Saleen Automotive and see if they have replacement PJ floor mats (if the originals are missing).

If the original PJ owner manuals are missing, I would factor this into pricing. Same goes if the #15 roundels and roof transfers are missing.

Any cosmetic or appearance items can be replaced or reconditioned. Original accessories, shipping materials, dealer materials, etc... less so.

If you plan to own the car for 10-20 years, I would look for a vehicle with owner manuals, original window sticker, floor mats, sales contracts, and exterior transfers (roundels).

If you are looking for a driving vehicle to enjoy over the next 3-5 years... the car you found (or one like it) may be great.
