Default Carpet trunk lid panel

Looking for feedback on the Saleen trunk lid panel. I've been creeping on the speedlab site and it says they only have 3 left. I like more then anything to attend shows so I'm thinking this would look really nice. Any pro's or cons to this item. How does it attach? Is it hard to put it on,etc??

thanks guys!!

Very easy to attach with self tapping screws. Cons: my trunk is real heavy now so the shocks barely hold it up. I would take it off but then I have holes in the truck liner.

The ones that I make just have push pins that hold it on. Just depends on what kind you get because some are heavy like above post says. Installation is pretty simple, just hold up tight against the edges, mark it with a sharpie, drill and then push in the pins. Easy done!

This is an older pic of the first one I made. The push pins that I use now are matching to the rest of the cover. You can not see them once installed.

Thanks for the info guys. The mounting method does have me kinda leary about drilling...not a fan of doing that but I really like how it looks back there.

Keep the pics coming so I can convince myself!

I have been talking to him via email but thanks for letting me know. I'm leaning towards the same design as you. Looks great!! Any other close ups?

I sent him a text. I will let you know what he says. Sometimes he doesn't reply back right away. He does HVAC work fulltime.

How much did something like this one with the logo and color letters cost, if you don't mind?

Not the greatest pic but here is mine that I got. I wish the trunk lid went up further, seems like it don't open far enough. You almost have to knee down and look up at to see the Saleen emblem.
