Are you talking about the original 16" 89 5-spoke wheels? If so, the selection for large 16" passenger car performance tires is dwindling ... everything is on 17" or larger now.

Assuming that you have the original 16 x 7 and 16 x 8 wheels, maybe look at 245/50/16 for the front and 255/50/16 for the rear. The 245/50 may rub a bit on the front on hard turns, or with the wheels turned while reversing. The BFG G-Force Sport is available in both of those sizes.

cheers

The Saleen Autosport recommended: 225/50/16 all around.

You might be able to get away with 245/45/16 in the front with turns, but still may rub. 255 on the rear may also rub going over bumps.
