Sunday, June 20 - Steve Saleen to make appearance @ DiBlasi Ford Event in New York
 

Legendary racer and auto maker Steve Saleen is scheduled to make an appearance on Sunday, June 20, 2010 in Long Island, NY in support of DiBlasi Ford of Corona, NY, a former longtime Saleen dealer and the new SMS dealer in the region.

Long Island Stangs will be hosting the event at Chicken Holiday in Westbury. There will be food and drink specials with a buffet-style lunch set up for those who want to grab a lunch and hang out with the Long Island Stangs group.

Steve Saleen will do autographs for an hour at about 12:30, and again mid-afternoon. Steve will also sign Saleens after the event, so simply be by your Saleen if you want it signed and he will come by.

There will be two 2011 SMS302 Mustangs on display -- one coupe and one convertible, so come by and check them out!

This event is going to be held offsite, away from the dealership location at:

I am a premier member of L.I. Stangs as well as a member on this forum and I will be at the event. I been waiting years for Steve Saleen to come around the New York area so he could sign my car. Anyone else in the area should deffinately come out everyone within L.I. Stangs are great people to hang out with.

You might post over on your forum that Steve will have SMS 302 posters to autograph while they last, and he will sign Saleens (dashboards, etc.) towards the end of the event, so owners should be by there vehicles. He likes to visit with owners, so it's a great time to introduce yourself and tell him what you like about being a Saleen owner.

I was planning on attending but now I am not my car had too many problems to fix before Sunday.... can anyone say restoration is needed....... 25 years and counting....

Well I will definately be there with my SLR! There might be some candid photos of some members, haha. This will be my first Mustang meet so I cannot wait!
