Seeking info: 11-0018 Saleen on eBay?

Does anyone know anything about the 2011 Saleen Number 18 that is on ebay right now.I kinda remember something about there being a white mule car out there not sure if this is it.
Thanks
Bob

Hi Bob! I believe 11-0003 was the internal test vehicle you speak of. It was an early white coupe with white wheels. I believe this vehicle might have attained the optional rear wing at some point.

11-0018 was the coupe Performance Autosport took delivery of, also white with white wheels. Reporedly this was the only MJ/Revstone vehicle with the Ford Track Pack (Brembo) option.

This car is local to me. I saw it for sale on one of the local forums and believe that I may actually know the owner. If you'd like me to check it out for you just let me know-any reason to check out a 2011 works for me.

Whether it may or may not be said to be a true saleen, it is a great car.

I know Mark only enjoyed it for 3k miles or so; I had the opportunity to drive it and those 2011 with the saleen suspension and all are night and day from any other mustang.

This car stayed in his show room and was taken the best of care like any of his cars.

Laboss, when are you listing your extreme for sale?

I can offer the opinion that Dave and I share -- we discussed this the other day -- that MJ Saleens will lack the heritage in the long run.

Yes, if you want a nicely-built Mustang, go for it -- but it's not a true Saleen unless Steve recognizes it as such.

As Dave alluded to, if you want a nice car, that has nothing to do with Steve Saleen, go for it.

And keep in mind that Revstone/Saleen already announced they were ending production of Saleen vehicles, so we already know that they are going to be a rare breed, and their future resale value will be up in the air.
