Q: Aftermarket wheel options?

What after market rims do you guys suggest for a 2000 saleen s281? I think I am going to finally break down and replace my factory wheels. Have one that the chrome is peeling causing air to leak so I purchased another from ebay.....big mistake. The wheel arrived and the whole inside of the wheel (that you can physically see) has corrosion all over it. Just curious to see what you guys thought.

There are a range of widths and backspacing if you decided to shop for replica 1999-04 Saleen wheels.

I recently purchased a 2000 S281 SC, the original wheels were missing and it has saleen replicas on it now. I don't know the age of the wheels, and they still shine, but the inside is bad corrosion and I get vibration at high speed. I just purchased a flow formed wheel set from TSW, flow formed or rotary forged are lighter in weight than cast, and much more affordable than forged wheels. It is already missing the originals, so I bought what I liked.

Do you have a specific brand in mind? You may check 4wheelonline and look for manufacturers like Niche, Asanti, and Touren. You can find a wide variety of aftermarket wheels all over the internet.
