Default Replacement lug nuts

Hey, guys:

I've searched the forum but have been unable to get an answer to my question, which is as follows...is there anything special about the lug nuts on an '89 Saleen (five-spoke ARE)? I've got one that will not come off (right rear wheel) and I'm afraid that I'm probably going to end up twisting the lug stud off at its mounting point. I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to come up with a wheel stud, but the lug nut may be a different matter. Can anyone offer up some advice on where to get another one in case mine ends up being damaged to the point of being unusable?

Thanks in advance,
Andy Walker

Well...I got it off, for sure...the lug nut and most of the stud!!! About 7/16" of the stud is sticking out the bottom of the lug nut!!! So, I guess the question now is what size wheel stud fits the Saleen rear axles? Do I ask for one for an SVO Mustang, or do I ask for one for a Lincoln LS? Surely, they're not standard Mustang studs, since we've got disc brakes in the rear. Does anyone out there know? Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks!!!!

Dorman 610260 is listed for both MK VII and SVO rear axles.

Thanks to you guys who responded to my question regarding wheel studs and lug nuts for my '89 Saleen. I followed the advice given and found what I needed at our local O'Rielly Auto Parts. Consequently, my Saleen is now back together and is hopefully going out for a run tomorrow, weather (and time) permitting. Thanks again, guys!!!!!
